Smooth event group was a monumental part of our wedding day!

We still hear compliments months later - people can’t stop talking about how the dance floor was never empty, the energy was immaculate, and how the DJ played nothing but bangers all night. More than a few guests have said, “It was the most fun wedding I’ve ever been to,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Huge shout out DJ Montone and Wild Bill for truly listening to what we wanted and protecting the vibe. It made me so happy to hear friends come back from the dj booth and say "They won't play this song unless the bride requests it," or "they said the bride doesn't want that." LOL. They absolutely nailed it. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Smooth Event Group was our DJ for our wedding on January 2nd, 2026. Smooth Event Group is by far the best wedding DJ we could have ever asked for! We had Austin (DJ Smooth) as our DJ and Bill as our MC, and they were an absolute blast to work with. The planning process was incredibly organized, stress-free, and honestly so much fun.

Austin and Bill knew exactly how to keep the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long, which is everything we could’ve asked for. Austin read the room perfectly, and his transitions from song to song were seamless. Every single song was either one we requested or an absolute hit that had everyone singing along and dancing. They truly had guests of ALL ages on the dance floor all night.

Our guests are still talking about the music and the incredible energy! Our package also included a Photo Booth, which was such a hit. They even provided us with a personalized scrapbook of all the Photo Booth photos, and that’s something we’ll cherish forever.

We can’t thank Smooth Event Group enough (especially Austin and Bill) for making our night so special and unforgettable. We cannot recommend them enough and would 100% book with them again for any future DJ needs!

My husband and I first heard about Smooth Group after attending a friend’s wedding where Austin DJed and Bill MC’d and honestly, it was the best wedding we had ever been to. The music mixes were incredible, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. After that, reaching out to them was a no-brainer.

They got back to us quickly, we set up a call, and we booked them almost immediately. We actually booked our venue and then our DJ before anything else which says a lot. Their online portal made everything so easy to organize, from must-play songs and do-not-plays to first dances. We also had a call to walk through all the details, and Austin and Bill were so patient with us, especially since we really didn’t know what we wanted at first.

Our wedding day ran incredibly smoothly, and the energy on the dance floor was unreal. We had multiple guests ask us for our DJ’s info for their own upcoming weddings. If you want a fun, seamless wedding with amazing music, book Smooth Group. You won’t regret it.

Smooth Event Group were fantastic to work with for our school formal. They responded promptly and showed excitement to work with us. During our first meeting, Michael described everything they could offer us while working within our budget. The DJ worked off a playlist that we curated and kept the energy up all night long. The photobooth was well attended and the photostrips were high quality. Lastly, the 360 camera was a hot attraction and a great addition to our event. Smooth Event Group really seemed to understand our vision for the event and worked hard to execute it.

We highly recommend SEG and DJ Down Pat Conlon to anyone and everyone.

We had never hired an entertainment group or DJ prior to wedding planning so we had no idea what to expect.... But from the moment we contacted SEG for a general inquiry, to being able to quickly chat/set up some time to talk further about our vision(s), we knew the SEG gentleman and Pat were the right team to join us on our wedding day. Their communication and the easy to use SEG portal was perfect for planning and alleviated the need for the logistical back and forth (even though they were very willing to chat or answer questions throughout the process).

We also had the opportunity to confirm intro logistics/first dance plans/last minute song choices with Pat via Zoom which gave us all the confidence that our wedding day would be a party.

And it was, Pat turned the night into the dance party we had hoped for! His intro's were perfect and the music was even better. Cannot thank DJ Down Pat and the team enough for making our Wedding night vision a reality!

SMOOTH EVENT GROUP IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST THERE IS. I CANT say enough good things about them. Mike was our emcee and Franky was our DJ. Mike was incredible to work with through the wedding planning process. He was super responsive and gave us an online platform that made music selection so simple. We got to know Mike on a personal level throughout the past months as well which was really cool. He’s an awesome guy and Dad! Franky LIT UP our dance floor. We gave them free rein for the most part when it came to dance floor music, just wanted it to be a party. Needless to say they delivered!!!! Everyone had a blast and so many people have reached out to me asking who our DJ was and how we found them. They are the coolest guys and coolest company. Not to mention have their own drinks that we LOVE. CHECK THEM OUT. You will not be disappointed!!!! We love you guys thank you for everything.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! From start to finish, he was kind, professional, and an absolute blast to work with. People are still raving about our wedding and how much fun they had- we owe it all to Smooth Event Group! Our biggest goal was to have a packed dance floor all night, and he delivered—no one wanted to leave!

He came with a professional crew and an amazing MC who guided the evening seamlessly. Adding services was simple—we included a photo booth, which was a huge hit and came with copies of every guest’s photos in an album that doubled as our guest book, as well as a live sax player who kept the energy electric on the dance floor.

Most importantly, he was respectful, easy to work with, and made the wedding planning process so much smoother (no pun intended lol) just by doing his job exceptionally well. There’s nothing worse than a DJ who can't read the room and the vibe, but Smooth far exceeded our expectations and nailed the vibe all night long. From the ceremony music, to the dance floor- he nailed it. If we ever need a DJ again, he will be our one and only call. Thanks to him, we truly had the time of our lives! Don't think twice, book with Smooth Event Group- you will not be disappointed.

Smooth Event Group Exceeded Our Expectations!
Music truly sets the tone for a wedding, and Smooth Event Group went above and beyond in every way for us. From the very first song to the last, the music kept the energy high and the dance floor absolutely packed. Every single song was a hit—the transitions between tracks were so smooth and creative that it took the entire experience to the next level. One of our friends even told us, “I could hear the next song coming in from the current song and it got me so hype”—and we couldn’t agree more.

We had a nearly three-hour set on the dance floor, and there was never a dull moment. DJ Austin and MC Bill worked together seamlessly, keeping the momentum going and making sure that everyone was having the time of their lives. The way they read the room and adapted the playlist was seriously impressive, ensuring all of our guests—of every age—were out there dancing together and loving every minute of it.

Smooth event group just did my wedding this past weekend. They were SOOOO amazing. Brett and Montone brought the jams and party alll night long. The dance floor was packed all night. Everyone has been raving about them to us. They were so great. So willing to chat us leading up the event and thought out the night being available if needed.

Austin and his team absolutely nailed it for our wedding! They had the dance floor packed from the time reception started until the very last song! Seemless transitions, all the right song choices to please both the younger crowd and the older guests! Absolutely A++ across the board, his emcee was electric and brought the energy to set the tone for the night! From the ceremony to the final dance, smooth entertainment went above and beyond! If you’re looking to have a good time and a non-stop dance party, I cannot recommend Smooth Event Group enough! Austin (DJ Smooth) and Eric (DJ Tonka) were AWESOME from planning to the end of the night, and gave us everything we wanted and more. They did a great job transitioning from dinner to dancing, matching the energy of the crowd and kept the party going all night long. We also used them for content creation and Natalie and Rosie were absolutely fantastic!!

Deciding on a DJ was one of the hardest things to do during the wedding process because of how important it was to my husband and I to pick somebody who could bring the energy that we wanted. When we were told about Smooth Event Group, we knew they would be exactly what we were looking for. I spoke with Michael several times leading up to our wedding and he helped make the process so easy. On our wedding day, DJ Smooth and MC Michael were absolutely AMAZING!!! Our requested songs were played along with other bangers that kept the dance floor packed from the beginning to the end! Thank you guys for being exactly what we were looking for on our most important day!
Also, the photobooth was great as well 🙂

Thank you to our amazing DJ and music man, Michael Lacivita, and the Smooth Event Group. A party is only as good as the music and people on the mic and they were the best! The DJ booth and setup was amazing! The stages were incredibly fun for the kids to dance on (and maybe a few adults too). They were lit the same color as my daughter’s dress which was such a nice touch! The photobooth was so much fun too. Everyone got a copy of their photo and we got an extra one of everyone’s pictures in an album for our daughter to keep. They also had someone working the photobooth along with an additional person making custom magnets with photobooth pics at guests request. What a special addition! If anyone needs a DJ, look no further!

If I could give 100 stars I would! We had DJ Frank Nitty and MC Bill for our wedding. All night long our guests were coming up to us saying they can’t believe how incredible Frank was. One guest said they felt like they were at a Coachella DJ set. The party literally never stopped and the dance floor was full all night. We asked for a party and a party we got. The live mixing, the transitions, and the energy was literally insane. When we see DJ Frank is playing in down the shore this summer, you better believe we’ll be there. Bill’s MC skills were as good as Frank’s DJ skills. He was constantly aware of what was going on throughout the evening and kept the event flowing. Perfection.

Smooth Event Group was exceptional for our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah!! We worked with Mike Lacivita for all the pre-planning and he was there the night of our event as our DJ and we had Bill as our MC…. the crowd was electric! Everyone danced the entire time, had the best time and loved the music selection! Smooth Event Group knows how to keep the party going and is up to date with all the best in the industry!
